This project from Bartholomäus Traubeck, plays wood rings by intepreting the data from computer, vvvv, and a camera to read the rings which results in surprisingly beautifiul piano melodies.
Arduino, PS Eye and a stepper motor are used in combination to read the moving image data direclty from the tonearm while the turntable spins.
